Leadership Convention is a dynamic 3-day event designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in leadership roles, both personally and professionally. Leadership Convention by NAAAP brings together over 500 Asian and Pacific Islander (API) leaders for professional development, networking, and community building. The 40th annual 2027 Leadership Convention (“LC27”) is at the Swissotel Chicago from July 15–18, 2027, and features keynotes, education and training sessions, networking events, a career fair, and an awards gala.

The convention is open to anyone passionate about personal and professional growth and interested in honing their leadership abilities.

For the event, while business professional attire is preferred to maintain a polished and professional atmosphere, it is not strictly required. However, attendees are encouraged to dress in attire that reflects the importance of the occasion and aligns with the traditional business professional standard. On Saturday, business casual dress is acceptable.
9. In July, what is the weather like in Chicago?
Chicago typically experiences hot and humid weather, with average high temperatures around the mid-90s Fahrenheit and lows around the mid-60s. Consider wearing light, breathable clothing and stay hydrated when outdoors during this time.
