Leadership Convention by NAAAP
The following is a copy of the Terms and Conditions all attendees agreed upon when registering for the Convention.
Refund Policy. We will refund or adjust any purchases made until May 31, 2024, minus any processing fees, back to the original form of payment. On June 1, 2024 and afterwards, for purchases made within 24 hours of ordering, we will refund or adjust such purchases, minus any processing fees, and for purchases made after 24 hours of ordering, we reserve the right to hold such purchases as final and non-refundable. On July 1, 2024 and afterwards, all purchases are final and non-refundable. For any requested refunds or adjustments, please email us at registration@naaap.org.
Ticket Transfers. All ticket and add-on purchases are transferable, as long as you inform the registration office no later than Monday, July 15. Individual meals may not be transferred but may be donated on your behalf to individuals requesting subsidy on a waiting list, at our sole discretion. Please email any transfer requests, along with new attendee’s name and email, to registration@naaap.org.
Proper Ticketing. I agree not to access restricted areas without the appropriate identification, ticket, and/or permissions. I also agree to not permit other persons to falsely present my credentials or ticket as his or her own.
Professional Conduct. Leadership Convention and its associated forums, including social media and its Whova program app, are intended to be an inclusive and supportive space welcoming all attendees. I agree to act at all times in a professional manner, to treat other convention attendees with respect and consideration, and to remind other attendees, when possible and appropriate, of high expectations of conduct.
Harassment. Leadership Convention and its associated forums are dedicated to being a safe, healthy, positive, and empowering space. I am committed to providing a harassment-free experience to every attendee, regardless of age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion (or lack thereof), marital status, veteran status, political affinity, or technology choices.
Recourse. I understand that my convention participation, both current and in the future, may be limited or forfeited, without compensation or recourse, if I engage in or be perceived to be engaged in conduct that may be unprofessional or harassing in any way.
Media Release. I give NAAAP and its agents permission to photograph, video, record and use images and/ or sound recordings of myself for advertising, marketing, fundraising, and promotional purposes. I agree that these images and recordings may be used in any public media, including internet, social media, print, or in the organization’s or its agent’s or partner’s publications or posts. I fully understand and agree that I waive any rights or interests in the images or recordings as stated in this release.
Other Terms and Conditions. NAAAP reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, which I agree to abide by or, if I refuse to comply, I will be eligible for reimbursement according to the Refund Policy.
